Meteor Signal Detection Workshop at Rey Astronomy Center
November 2015 —
Cooperated in Radio Astronomy Workshop by lecturing about design parameters of a proper Loop Antenna and a suitable Receiver Circuit needed to make a Radio Telescope. The aim was to design a system to receive electromagnetic signals over ELF to VLF frequency ranges radiated from Meteors hitting Earth aerosphere. Follow this post to get circuit design files and other materials.
This circuit is designed using Orcad PSpice 16.5. You can use the attached file for simulations.
You can use the alternative receiver curcuit if you wish. It's designed using Proteus ISIS software. Please note that this circuit is neither designed nor tested by myself. Use at your own risk.
