Projects and Experiences
Just a quick look to the highlights.

Ph.D. Candidate Researcher in COPL / LABioTRON

Starting from September 2019 — Working as a Researcher in Centre d'optique, photonique et laser (COPL) and LABioTRON Bioengineering Research Laboratory. Focused on Novel Technologies of Human Vital Signal Monitoring and Processing, comprised of Antenna Design, RF Circuits & Systems Design, Real-time Signal Processing, and Embedded Systems.

Research Assistant in Centre hospitalier de l’Université Laval (CHUL)

From Summer 2022 to Winter 2023 — Working part-time in the field of Neuroscience. Focused on Signal Processing and Data Analysis of Local Field Potential (LFP) brain signals recorded from rodents.

Design & Simulation of a Metasurface using Graphene (M.Sc. Thesis)

From September 2017 to February 2019 — A Reflectarray antenna based on Graphenes for Terahertz Regime

Teacher Assistant at Amirkabir University — Tehran Polytechnic

From September 2018 to January 2019 — TA sessions held for Advanced Electrodynamics (I) Course for M.Sc. students.

A simple Graphics Processor Unit (B.Sc. Project)

From December 2014 to September 2016 — A simple Graphics Processor Unit implemented using a VGA DAC and an FPGA chip including a PowerPC Microprocessor. The aim is to create a 2D Graphics Processor to drive the monitor and let the designer control display output and plot basic geometric shapes over the screen. In addition, it can print standard ASCII characters and strings on desired locations of the screen. It also offers a terminal-like console output area which reflows the text and can be very useful for monitoring system, debugging runtime and interacting with end-user. This project is released to the public as open source. Read more…
